[Our] people are not a warlike nation. It is a soldierly one, which means it does not want war but does not fear it. It loves peace, but also its honor and freedom.

—— Ronald Reagan, July 17, 1980
While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Michael R. Pompeo, secretary of state, in an interview with Maria Bartiromoof Fox Business News, threatens military action against Venezuela if Marxist President Nicolas Maduro Moros does not step down and leave Venezuela. This comes after a failure of a Central Intelligence Agency backed coup against Maduro failed.
NOTE: This is the second time the U.s. has attempted to overthrow the government of Venezuela, whereas Venezuela has never attempted to overthrow the government of the U.s.
