While the United States Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” New Orleans, louisiana employees (French for “government workers) remove the Battle of Liberty Place Monument.  The BPLM was erected, in 1891 to commemorate the 1874 rebellion by the racist Crescent City White League, against the occupation government imposed upon them by the Federal government.

Postscript: Over the course of the next month statues of Generals, of the Army of the Confederate States, Robert E. Lee and P.G.T. Beauregard, as well as President Jefferson Davis, of the Confederate States, were also removed.
