While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Pena Rodriguez v. colorado: the deliberations of trial (petite) jury deliberations are subject to review by appellate courts.
NOTE: This poses a further threat to the time honored tradition of Jury Nullification (The act of a fully informed Jury, empowered through self-knowledge, to judge the decrees and the evidence in question).
