The Federal court for the district of oregon decides “The Malheur Seven”: The jury empowered through self-knowledge, to judge the decrees and the evidence in question, acquits Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, Shawna Cox, Jeff Banta, David Fry, Neil Wampler and Ken Medenbach of conspiracy to impede Federal employees (French for “government workers”) from discharging their duties. But judge Anna J. Brown orders that the seven defendants remain in Federal custody pending charges against them in the Federal enclave of Nevada.
