While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” in testimony to the house armed services subcommittee, Jan Frye, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition and Logistics of the Department of Veterans Affairs, reveals that the VA probably wastes between 5,000,000,000 and 10,000,000,000 “dollars” per year on non-competitive bid contracts.  These violations of Federal statute have been going on for at least a decade.
