While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” J.S. Walton, Warden of the U.s. Penitentiary in Marion, illinois writes to Freedom Line that its book Freedom! “contains information which poses a threat to security, good order, or discipline of the institution,”

       Postscript: In response Donna Hancock editorialized,

       We could appeal, but I’m not sure that I disagree that FREEDOM! is a threat to the security, good order, and discipline of “the institution,” In fact, it’s a threat to the ENTIRE INSTITUTION OF GOVERNMENT!  If anything, this motivates me all the more to make sure we get a copy to every inmate in America even if we have to send them in one page at a time, [emphasis in the original].
