The Federal court for the southern district of the Federal enclave of Ohio hands down Ahmed v. Magan: judge Mark R. Abel orders retired Colonel Abdi Aden Magan, former Chief of the National Security Service of Somalia, to pay 15,000,000 “dollars” in compensation to Abukar Hassan Ahmed for torture that was inflicted upon him in Somalia 35 years previous.

- This torture was not committed under the flag of the United States.
- Meanwhile, Republican (fascist/socialist) former President George W. Bush, who ordered torture under the flag of the United states remained free.
