While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” David S. Chu, Under Secretary of Defense (foreign military aggression) for Personnel and Readiness, reports to the national media that, thanks to a faltering economy (poverty draft), the U.s. Armed Forces have met their recruiting goals for 2008.

       The supreme court, of connecticut, hands down Kerrigan v. Commissioner of Public Health, giving same-sex couples the right to marry.

       NOTE: This is a violation of the principal of the Separation of Church and State: Marriage is religious institution; homosexuals already had the option of establishing a civil union, an institution of the state.

       A week after Republican (fascist/socialist) President George W. Bush signed the “Billionaire Bailout (and left taxpayers the) Bill,” the worst trading week for the New York Stock Exchange in the last 75 years comes to a close: The Dow Jones Industrial 30 Index lost 22.1%, its worst week ever (This is down 40.3% from a year ago); the Standard & Poor’s 500 index lost 18.2%, its worst week since 1933, (This is down 42.5% from a year ago).  Paper losses now in the nation’s stocks reflect an 8,400,000,000,000 “dollar” loss in the last year.
