The filing deadline passes to qualify for the upcoming texas presidential election.  The only candidate who has submitted the required paper in a timely manner is former Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto CONgressman Bob Barr, Esq., of the confederate state of georgia, nominee of the Libertarian (neo-conservative) Party.  Neither status quo (Democratic or Republican) candidate qualified for the texas secret (Australian) ballot.

       Postscript: Ten weeks later, the two status quo candidates garnered over 99% of the vote, and Barr had collected less than 0.7% of the vote, after the supreme court of texas refused—without issuing an opinion—Barr’s appeal.
