While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Fiscal Year 2006 concludes: CONgress has spent 934,900,000,000 “dollars” on the military industrial complex, which represents a larger share of the Gross National Product than during the Korean-American, Sino-American, Vietnamese-American, Persian Gulf Wars or the Reagan Reverie. The near trillion “dollar” figure for foreign military aggression includes not only 499,400,000,000 “dollars” by the Department of Defense (foreign military aggression), but also includes veiled expenditures of:
- 69,800,000,000 “dollars” by the Department of Veterans Affairs for veterans physically and mentally destroyed by foreign war in a futile attempt to preserve liberty;
- 69,100,000,000 “dollars” by the Department of Homeland Security for paramilitary and police state activities;
- 38,500,000,000 “dollars” by the department of the treasury for military retirements;
- 25,300,000,000 “dollars” by the department of state for foreign military aid;
- 16,600,000,000 “dollars” by the Department of Energy for nuclear armaments;
- 7,600,000,000 “dollars” by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for spy satellite launches;
- 1,900,000,000 “dollars” by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for paramilitary and police state activities; and
- 206,700,000,000 “dollars” by the Bureau of the Public Debt for interest on war debt.
This sum is larger than the combined military spending of all other nations in the rest of the world.
