While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Philippines and west Africa defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Federal court for the southern district of california hands down United states v. Elizalda: judge Larry A. Burns sentences Richard Elizalda, a former U.s. Border Patrol Guard, to near five years in prison, for accepting a 2000 Lexus, a 2005 BMW, and at least 36,500 “dollars” in cash, in return for allowing free-market workers into the U.s.

NOTE: The editors wish to point out that the nation does not have an illegal immigration problem; it has a welfare state problem.  The economic benefits of unfettered immigration could be fully realized with complete charitization of public welfare services, which have proven to be a drain on economic vitality no matter which side of the border the beneficiaries of the public largess are born on.
