APRIL FOOLS’ DAY: United states Special Forces (private mercenaries) “rescue” U.s. Army Private First Class Jessica D. Lynch from Saddam Hospital, where she was receiving treatment for a broken leg, broken arm and a dislocated ankle.  Although Lynch was not being held under guard, and any U.s. official could have simply walked into the hospital and requested her release, a dramatic raid was staged anyway.

Postscripts:

  • The following day Department of Defense (foreign military aggression) propagandists attempted to spin Lynch into a war hero having been shot, stabbed, raped and sodomized.
  • Months later Lynch set the story straight in testimony before CONgress denying that any of it was true.
