The Federal court for the western district of missouri hands down, United states v. Morris, sentencing, Byron “Bam” Morris, of the National Football League Kansas City Chiefs, to ten years in prison for marijuana possession and trafficking. Morris was the top rusher in Super Bowl XXX, in 1996. During his six years with the NFL, Morris scored 35 touchdowns, and more importantly averaged 3.5 yards per carry.
