The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down Stenberg v. Carhart, declaring–via the 14th amendment–that state statues that prohibit abortions after the child is completely formed are unlawful.

NOTE: This decision involved the issue of abortion on demand.  At this time the court had a 6:3 majority of justices, who had been appointed by ostensibly pro-life Republican (fascist/socialist) presidents Reagan and George Herbert “Read my lips, no new taxes” Walker Bush.  If all other Republican appointees are included, that coalition increases to 7:2.  This should serve as further notice to opponents of abortion-on-demand that the Republican Party has no intention of honoring its pro-life pledge.
