The supreme court, of the corporate United states, hands down texas v. Johnson, declaring as unlawful—via the fraudulent 14th amendment—the republic’s Uniform Flag Act of 1917, which makes it illegal to burn the U.s. flag.
NOTES:
- In rendering this decision, the court ignored the 1876 constitution of texas, article I, section 8.
- Gregory Lee Johnson, whose conviction is reversed, could have been charged with theft of government property (the U.s. flag that he burned) by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, but was not.
