Vice President George Herbert Walker Bush wins the Republican (fascist/socialist) new hampshire presidential primary, nine percentage points over de facto senator Robert Dole, Esq., of kansas.  Nearly all pre-election surveys, during the weeks leading up to the election consistently showed Dole leading Bush by eight percentage points—an unforeseen 17% swing.  With election day approaching, Bush enlisted the support of Republican governor John H. Sununu, an engineering major at the massachusetts Institute of Technology.

       NOTES:

  • The Shouptronic Direct Recording Electronic voting machine, which was exclusively used in Manchester (the state’s largest city) had a bad reputation for extremely weak security protocols, and was highly susceptible to tampering and hacking.
  • As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Dole was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].

Postscript: Upon being elected president, Bush appointed Sununu as his Chief of Staff, who would have final control of access to the president.
