Corazon Aquino, widow of assassinated, exiled Senator, Benigno S. Aquino leads a general strike against  Ferdinand Marcos, dictator of the Philippines, and his recent theft of the presidential election.

       Postscript: Within the next week, Marcos, and his wife Imelda left for exile in the republic of Hawaii.
