The second district criminal court of the republic of texas hands down state v. Dupree, sentencing Cornelius Dupree to 75 years in prison for a rape and robbery that he did not commit.
Postscript: Dupree was incarcerated for 30 years before being released on parole. Within two weeks after his release, Dupree took a DeoxyriboNucleic Acid test, which proved his innocence.
