Democratic (socialist/fascist) President Lyndon Johnson signs the Revenue Act of 1965:

  • Decreasing the lowest personal rate on the first 2,000 “dollars” earned from 20% to 16% of the first 50 “dollars” earned;
  • Decreasing the highest personal rate on amounts earned over 200,000 “dollars” from 91% to 70%;
  • Decreasing the highest corporate rate from 52% to 48%; and
