After five days of negotiations aboard the USS Augusta and HMS Prince of Wales, off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, Democratic (socialist/fascist) de facto President Franklin Roosevelt, Esq. and Prime Minister Winston Churchill, of the United Kingdom, sign the Atlantic Charter, committing both nations to eight principles, one of which includes, worldwide economic collaboration for the advancement of social welfare.

       Postscript: Within the next six weeks, 15 other nations would sign onto the Atlantic Charter.

       NOTE: As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Roosevelt was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
