The pre-New Deal (1930 – 1932) concludes: At the reconvening of the status quo (Republican and Democratic) ninth counterfeit CONgress (elected in accordance with the fraudulent 17th amendment) “lame-duck” Republican (fascist/socialist) President Hoover, delivers his final State of the nation address, defending his record claiming credit for ending the Great Depression: “The unprecedented emergency measures enacted and policies adopted undoubtedly saved the country from economic disaster. …”

NOTE: Although Hoover uses the word “country” here, the editors believe that he meant to use the word “nation,” in which a central government, with almost limitless power, treats its constituent states as mere enclaves, provinces, or sub-divisions of its greater self; as opposed to “Union,” which is a union of sovereign States under a federal system, with a central government whose powers are strictly limited by a respected Constitution.
