Democratic (socialist/fascist) de facto governor Austin Peay, Esq. of the confederate state of tennessee, signs the Butler Act, making it illegal to “teach any theory that denies the Story of the Divine Creation of man as taught in the Bible, and to teach instead that man has descended from a lower order of animals.”
NOTE: As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Peay was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
