The German Revolution ends with the establishment of the Weimar Republic: In the first post-war/post monarchy parliamentary elections the socialist Social Democratic Party wins a plurality at 38% of the vote. Other parties winning votes are,
- 20% for the Center (Roman Catholic) Party,
- 18% for the proto-libertarian German Democratic Party,
- 10% for the fascist German National People’s Party,
- 7% for the mercantilist German People’s Party,
with the remaining going to the agrarian Bavarian Peasants’ League, and the three regional German-Hanoverian, Schleswig-Holsteinische Bauern- und Landarbeiterdemokratie and Brunswick Election-Union parties. The parliament will also act as the National Assembly (constitutional convention), and meet in the city of Weimar (because of chaotic civil unrest in Berlin).
