Republican (proto-fascist/socialist) President Theodore Roosevelt turns the presidency over to Republican William Howard Taft, former Secretary of War, a resident of the federal enclave of Ohio.  Roosevelt is giving to Taft a national debt that has expanded from 2,100,000,000 to 2,600,000,000 Dollars, going from 28 to 29 Dollars per person, but falling from 10 to 8% of the Gross National Product.

       NOTES:

  • The nation is still paying for the Panics of 1837 and 1857; the War of Federal Aggression; and now the Panic of 1907 through lawful Indirect (tariffs and excise) taxes placed upon manufactured goods.
  • The Democratic and Republican (status quo) parties have now maintained a 12-year duopoly on political power.
