In a power struggle against the Republican (proto-fascist/socialist) 60th Constitutional Congress (elected in accordance with Article I, Section 3 [Clause 1]), Commander-in-Chief Theodore “Robber Baron” Roosevelt orders the “Great White Fleet,” composed of, two squadrons of eight battleships each, with accompanying escorts, vessels of the Navy of the United States, to sail around the world, in a display of strength to the European powers. Congress refused to fund the 14-month expedition, but Roosevelt dispatches the fleet anyway.
