The Supreme Court, of the corporate United states, decides Coleman v. Tennessee: U.s. subject-citizens may not be tried in BOTH military and civilian courts for the same offense. The decision also declares as lawful the military occupation of the confederate States based, not on the Constitution for the united States—as there is no constitutional justification—but upon the principles of international law.
NOTE: This further constitutes a de jure (by law) recognition of the Confederacy as an independent nation, and the lawful right of States to secede from the compulsory Union/nation.
