The Texas Revolution ends at the Battle of San Jacinto: General Sam Houston, commanding the Army of Texas, defeats 1,200 Soldiers of the Army of Mexico, commanded by General Antonio López de Santa Anna. Santa Anna is taken prisoner in the fighting.
