The Battle of Pensacola concludes: after two days of fighting, Major General Andrew Jackson, commanding the the Seventh Military Division of the Army of the united States, captures Fort Pensacola, commanded by Governor Mateo Gonzalez Manrique, of the Spanish enclave of West Florida. This ends occupation of the province by the Army of the United Kingdom.
