General George Washington, Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army, leaks false plans convincing Lieutenant General Henry Clinton, Commander-in-Chief, North America of the Army of Great Britain, that an attack on New York City is imminent. Instead Washington marches the CA south from White Plains, New York (along with Marshal Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau, Commander-in-Chief of the Expeditionary Force of the Army of France) south to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
