The New York Committee of Correspondence approves ten resolutions against the tyranny of Parliament. Number two condemns the Boston Port Act as, “in the highest Degree, arbitrary in it’s Principles, oppressive in it’s Operation, unparalleled in it’s Rigor, indefinite in it’s Exactions, and subversive of every Idea of British Liberty; and therefore justly to be abhorred and detested by all good Men.”
