The Salem, Massachusetts Witch Trials continue: Martha Corey, Mary Eastey, Alice Parker, Ann Pudeator, Margaret Scott, Wilmot Redd, Samuel Wardwell, and Mary Parker are hanged for witchcraft at Gallows Hill. The only testimony against them was based solely upon spectral evidence.
